The EPCARES trains for worst case scenario and hope that our services will not be needed this holiday season. We are always looking for new members for both Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES®) and Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (RACES). Go to https://www.hamradioelpaso.com/emergency-coordination for details on becoming a member. You do not have to be a member of any club or the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) to be a member.
We are also looking for candidates to help man the amateur radio station at the American Red Cross Chapter Headquarters.
